Ramayana Global Box Office Prediction: Ranbir Kapoor aims at a Rs. 160 crore global opening; set to surpass Jawan and Pathaan

The stage is set for Indian Cinema to take over the global platform as Ranbir Kapoor and Yash-led Ramayana is headed to take a historic opening on Thursday at the box office across the globe. The advances are encouraging across the board, especially for the Hindi version in India as well as abroad.

Based on the trends, we predict an all-India gross opening of Rs. 100 crore for Ramayana, whereas the overseas pre-sales are hinting at a $6 million start. All in all, the Ranbir Kapoor and Yash film is all set to clock a worldwide opening day of Rs. 160 crore, which would place it as the second biggest opening day of all time for a Hindi Film, after Dhurandhar 2, which opened around the Rs. 200 crore mark.

The global opening of Ramayana is expected to be bigger than Shah Rukh Khan blockbusters - Jawan and Pathaan - both of which opened around the Rs 120 crore mark. From a global start of Rs. 160 crore, the stage is set for Ramayana to explode in a big way, and if the content lands, nothing can stop it from emerging as a blockbuster of epic proportions.
