Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna's Eid 2025 offing, Sikandar, is seeing a slower-than-expected response in advance bookings. As of data received at 3 PM, Sikandar has sold 1.07 lakh tickets across the Top 3 national chains - PVRInox and Cinepolis - and is looking towards a final advance booking in the range of 1.75 lakh tickets.
With this range of advance booking, Sikandar is looking at first-day business in the range of Rs. 30 crore to Rs. 32 crore, which is not up to the mark, given the high standards set by Salman Khan over the years. The film is riding on the shoulders of Salman Khan, as nothing barring his presence is creating conversations for Sikandar.
The pre-sales are better in single screens than the multiplexes, but that's also due to the genre, which has a very non-multiplex film, appealing mainly to the mass audience. The first 3 days of the film have to be strong and hit the Rs. 100 crore mark, as it is a frontloaded film, warranting a frontloaded start.
