After collecting Rs. 7.74 crores on Monday, Chhaava saw a substantial drop on Tuesday as Rs. 5.40 crores more were collected. This was more than expected because otherwise day on day drop around 10% is normal. However, this one drop come and a major reason for that is India vs Australia ICC Champions Trophy Semi-Final match that kept audiences at home.
The historic action drama has now reached Rs. 484.70 crores and a little over Rs. 15 crores more are waiting to be collected before Rs. 500 crores milestone is achieved. It’s now going to happen on the fourth weekend.
All eyes are now on Sikandar to score hugely at the box office to keep the momentum going well into the new financial year. It would all boil down to how big an impact does the trailer of the Salman Khan starrer makes once it arrives in a few days from now. There is a lot riding on the Sajid Nadiadwala production and a lot of onus is on the action drama to emerge as that huge big screen experience for the audiences to cheer about.
