HanuMan Box Office: Earns almost the double of the opening day on Day 2, all set for a weekend of over Rs. 10 crores
HanuMan is all set to score a weekend of over Rs. 10 crores. After opening better than expected on Friday, the film not just consolidated well but also saw further growth coming on Saturday. Moreover, the quantum was good too as Rs. 4.05 crores came in and that’s much ahead of its Friday score of Rs. 2.15 crores.
There is good interest that has been generated for this Prasanth Verma directed film that’s actually quite universal in appeal and is not restricted to just the south or the north audiences. It’s region agnostic as Lord Hanuman is revered by majority and the manner in which He has been presented on screen by the filmmaker is truly commendable. That’s reflecting in the overall collections of Rs. 6.20 crores so far as well as out and out positive vibe.
Teja Sajja, who has been active in the Telugu cinema circuit - first as a child actor and now as a leading man - can well be assured of a success here in the Pan-India market. Since the cost of the film is quite controlled and appreciation much higher, the film will keep running for long. The next big release in Hindi Fighter is arriving later on January 25. The first couple of milestones are Sunday growth followed by Monday sustenance and once that turns out to be the case, the makers would well gear up for a bash.
