Fighter Advance Booking Update: Hrithik Roshan's film scores decent response with 55,000 tickets across national multiplex chains
The most awaited aerial action Thriller, Fighter, has scored a decent response in the advance bookings across the top 3 national chains - PVR, Inox, and Cinepolis. As of Tuesday early morning, the Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone film has sold 55,000 tickets in the top 3 national chains and has set itself up for a good movement in ticket sales on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The makers, Siddharth Anand and Viacom 18 have gone ahead with a rather unconventional release format as the film is arriving on Thursday on a non-holiday instead of Friday. The team is hoping for strong word of mouth, which will escalate the growth on the Republic Day holiday.
The bookings for Fighter are better than Hrithik Roshan's last film, Vikram Vedha, however, it's lower than other event action spectacles of 2023 like Pathaan, Gadar 2, Jawan, Tiger 3, and Animal. The final advance booking of Fighter in the national chains will be around 2 lakh tickets, which will be reasonable but leave a lot for word of mouth to do the talking for the film to leave a mark.
Fighter is the first big-ticket release of 2024 and will hit the big screen during the eve of India's 70th Republic Day.The film stars Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor in lead.
