Drishyam 2 Box Office: Film collects Rs. 304.85 cr; emerges as Ajay Devgn’s third highest grosser at the worldwide box office

The much talked about and keenly anticipated release Drishyam 2 was released a few weeks ago, and since then the film has proved to be unstoppable at the box office. Starring Ajay Devgn, Akshaye Khanna, Tabu, and Shriya Saran Drishyam 2 has been on a roll, raking in the moolah each passing week. In fact, the film has been enjoying such incredible trending that the business of the film has continued its box office march despite new releases hitting screens. Now, at the close of its fourth weekend running, Drishyam 2 has managed to cross the Rs. 300 cr mark at the worldwide box office, by raking in a staggering Rs. 304.85 cr.

In this box office report, we look at the worldwide collections of Drishyam 2 while comparing the same to Ajay Devgn’s previous releases. Not surprisingly, Drishyam 2 ranks as the actors third highest, coming in just behind his previous releases Tanhaji – The Unsung Warrior that had collected Rs. 367.65 cr, and Golmaal Again, which had collected Rs. 311.18 cr. However, the business of Drishyam 2 at the worldwide box office does manage to surpass some of the actor’s other releases like Total Dhamaal which collected Rs. 228.27 cr, and Singham Returns which collected Rs. 220.5 cr.

As of now, Drishyam 2, which is in its fourth week running, has continued to sustain its business. However, with the big ticket Hollywood release Avatar: The Way of Water slated to hit screens this Friday; trade predictions state that the business of Drishyam 2 will finally see a dip in collections.
