Jugjugg Jeeyo Day 1 Occupancy Report: Varun Dhawan – Kiara Advani starrer opens with around 20% occupancy in morning shows

The much talked about and immensely promoted film Jugjugg Jeeyo hits screens today. Directed by Raj Mehta starring Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor the film was expected to start with a bang. The film has been released across 3,375+ screens with 11,384+ shows per day.

As per reports shared with Bollywood Hungama, Jugjugg Jeeyo has apparently opened on a strong note. In fact, occupancy rate during morning and mid-afternoon shows is pegged at around 20% in urban centres. The film, which is high on style and urban metaphors, has seen a higher occupancy rate in metro cities. The occupancy was however lower in the mass centres.

The film enjoys highly positive word of mouth that is sure to drive sales over evening and night shows. Based on updates from film trade circles, the business of Jugjugg Jeeyo is looking set to enjoy an opening day of around Rs. 10 cr.  The ticket prices of Jugjugg Jeeyo have been priced around 5% higher than Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.
