Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 Box Office: Kartik Aaryan starrer beats RRR; emerges as second highest fourth week grosser of 2022

The Anees Bazmee directorial Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 was released four weeks ago and since then there has been no stopping the film at the box office. Starring Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani the film opened on a good note and continued to see an increase in business as the weeks' progressed. In fact, the Bhushan Kumar – Murad Khetani-produced film managed to hold its own at the box office despite competition coming in from new releases hitting screens. Now after a four-week run, and fending off competition from a big-ticket mega-budget film, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has continued to remain stable.

In this box office report, we look at the fourth-week collections of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 while comparing the same to previous releases of 2022 that have made it to their fourth week. Collecting Rs. 12.99 cr, the Kartik Aaryan starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has now emerged as the second-highest fourth-week grosser of 2022. In fact, the business of the film has managed to beat the collections of the SS Rajamouli directorial RRR, which had collected Rs. 11.72 cr. Apart from this, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, has also managed to surpass other releases like The Kashmir Files, which collected Rs. 9.95 cr, and Gangubai Kathiawadi, which collected Rs. 5.25 cr.

If that was not enough, when compared to all-time releases, the Anees Bazmee directorial Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 ranks as the eleventh all-time highest fourth-week grosser. Beating out previous releases like Pushpa: The Rise – Part 1 collected Rs. 12.26 cr, Bahubali – The Beginning, which collected Rs. 12.10 cr, and Bajrangi Bhaijaan, which had collected Rs. 11.73 cr.

Currently, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, which has raked in Rs. 176.14 cr, is expected to continue to run in theatres. With little competition coming in from the new release Nikamma, trade predictions state that the business of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 will continue to remain stable well into its fifth week running.
