The Kashmir Files Box Office Collections: Anupam Kher starrer dethrones Sanju, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Dhoom 3; occupies the 5th spot in All Time Highest First Thursday collections

It seems like there is no stopping the Vivek Agnihotri directorial The Kashmir Files that released last week on Friday. After opening on a modest note of Rs. 3.55 cr, the business of the film has been seeing an increase with each passing day. Now on its first Thursday, in theatres The Kashmir Files has managed to draw in a whopping Rs. 18.05 cr more.

In this box office report, we take a look at the first Thursday collections of The Kashmir Files while comparing the same to previous releases. Collecting Rs. 18.05 cr, The Kashmir Files manages to surpass Ranbir Kapoor starrer Sanju that collected Rs. 16.10 cr, Salman Khan starrer Bajrangi Bhaijaan that collected Rs. 15.55 cr, Tiger Zinda Hai that collected Rs. 15.42 cr, Kick that collected Rs. 15.4 cr, and the Aamir Khan starrer Dhoom 3 that collected Rs. 14.01 cr.

On the other hand, however, the business of The Kashmir Files does not manage to surpass certain other releases like PK that collected Rs. 27.55 cr, Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion that collected Rs. 22.75 cr, and Dangal that collected Rs. 20.29 cr.

As of now, The Kashmir Files still enjoys the audiences favour and is expected to see further growth in business. In fact, with the Holi weekend festivities the collections of the film are more than likely to see a massive increase propelling it past the Rs. 120 cr mark.
