The Kashmir Files Box Office Collections: Ranks as the 14th all-time highest first Tuesday grosser; beats Airlift, Kabir Singh, Tanhaji, and Padmaavat
The Vivek Agnihotri-directed film The Kashmir Files that was released on Friday last week has been unstoppable at the box office. After opening on a strong note the business of the film has been growing by leaps and bounds. In fact, after raking in Rs. 27.15 cr over its opening weekend, the business of the film managed to remain stable on its first Monday with a further Rs, 15.05 cr coming in. Now on its first Tuesday running the business of The Kashmir Files has seen an increase in collections.
As per reports, The Kashmir Files has managed to draw in Rs. 18 cr on its first Tuesday, Day 5 in theatres. With this, the business of the film has managed to surpass the first Tuesday collections of certain previous releases like Airlift collected Rs. 17.8 cr, Kabir Singh that collected Rs. 16.53 cr, Good Newwz that collected Rs. 16.20 cr, Tanhaji – The Unsung Warrior that collected Rs. 15.28 cr, and Padmaavat that collected Rs. 14 cr. With this, the current collections of The Kashmir Files are pegged at a staggering Rs. 60.20 cr within just 5 days of its release.
Going further, looking at the business trend it is expected that The Kashmir Files will continue to see good growth in collections, eventually passing the Rs. 100 cr mark by the end of its first week. In fact, trade predicts that if the business of the film maintains its current momentum it is likely to make it across the Rs. 150 cr mark in the coming week.
